Created by Jean-Pierre Maquair, Director – Light Designer, the company De Cour à Jardin (From Heart to Garden), located in Brunoy (91), for 20 years, has focused its activities in three principal ways :
The production of night time shows (both technical and realistic)
The company’s operations are therefore numerous and diversified. Its expansion and success result from the activities of the people and technicians with whom Jean-Pierre Maquair is associated. The company becomes involved with sites classed as urban or rural both within and outside France.
Night time shows
These are special and spectacular events.
A field where creativity and technique are king (sound effects, synchronised swimming, lasers, devices, videos and/or giant images...), the success of a night time show depends on the quality of the script and the effective, careful use of technology.
The projects enable Jean-Pierre Maquair to create productions, some with the participation of the local population, in a variety of localities and in many countries (Brazil, Mexico, Malaysia, Spain, Africa, Oman, Qatar...and naturally, France.)

The proficiency of the company is best demonstrated in town lighting scenography, more specifically in the areas of :

Festive lighting
De Cour à Jardin provides the artistic direction of the Paris illumine Paris show.
Jean-Pierre Maquair, responsible for the operation’s artistic coherency and his sustained technique, also gets involved in some illumination designs.
Thus, designers, installers, material distributors and trade associations, under the direction of the Maire de Paris, illuminate more and more avenues, roads and places in the capital.
The professional journey of Jean-Pierre Maquair has always been lead by his passion. A man of action, he constantly strives to perfect his artistic technique in order to perfectly utilise it when confronted with unique apperances of sites that he discovers with each new mission. His final objective is to give the public a chance to deeply experience his work within the confines of dreamy and beautiful areas.
